'Mortal Kombat X' News & Update: Newest Game DLC 'Kombat Pack 3' To Be Available Sooner Than Expected!

The widely successful and long time running video game "Mortal Kombat X" has got fans super excited when it came out. Like any other games, "Mortal Kombat X" will soon release its newest DLC, which is the "Kombat Pack 3." Fans believed that the new DLC of "Mortal Kombat X" was coming later this year but there have been reports that "Kombat Pack 3" will be coming very soon.

What fired up the news of "Mortal Kombat X" "Kombat Pack 3" being released sooner than expected is the tweet from co-creator and Creative Director of NetherRealm studios Ed Boon, who tweeted a very cryptic message. Ed Boon's tweet goes on to say "evEn with the recent announcement of injustice 2.... we'Ve got some cool mortal kombat x new cOming! :)."

The emphasis on E, V, and O on Ed Boon's tweet regarding news about "Mortal Kombat X" have fans raging because, according to many fans of "Mortal Kombat X," the big announcement will undoubtedly happen at the EVO 2016 event that will happen this July 15. What's more exciting is that fans believe it to be an announcement concerning the newest DLC for "Mortal Kombat X."

Furthermore, during an interview, Ed Boon talked about how they will extend "Mortal Kombat X" beyond other titles, but was not specific about it. Now, fans have associated the extensions that Ed Boon mentioned to be new characters that are going to be added in "Mortal Kombat X."

Fans believe that there will be many announcements about "Mortal Kombat X" during EVO 2016 and that the characters that will be added in the game are the following: Noob Saibot, Sindel, Jade, Li Mei, Rain, and Fujin.

As of now all fans can do is speculate as to what Ed Boon is talking about on his tweet concerning "Mortal Kombat X." But fans are hopeful that it will be the new DLC, "Kombat Pack 3" and new characters.
