Is Warner Bros. trying to catch up with Marvel?

Well, there are rumors that the character of Lobo will be getting a place in the "Justice League" movie.

Lobo is a superhero who can stand toe-to-toe with Superman. But if he sustains injuries, he has healing properties. Age and diseases do not affect him. There are instances where he can create a duplicate of himself. His Olfactory is highly developed.

Warner Bros. is fiddling with the idea of including Lobo as a member of the "Justice League" movie, reported Comic Book Movie. The script is being written by Will Beall.

The site noted it's not known if Lobo will be fighting for or against the Justice League. But having him around will certainly make fans excited. There is also a Lobo movie in the cards, which is being written by Brad Peyton who will eventually direct the superhero movie too with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson predictably playing the role of Lobo.

The site also says there might be possibilities of the project not taking off at all as it is still, "only in the brainstorming stage." Moreover, Warner Bros's primary goal is to see the release of "Justice League" by 2015.

Lobo has his origins from a place called Czaria, created by Keith Giffen and Roger Slifer. In the comic book world he has made his appearances in "Justice League International" and has regularly appeared in "L.E.G.I.O.N" and "R.B.E.L.S" series. He loves to kill and be intoxicated.
