Jeff Wadlow, director of "Kick-Ass-2", has started shooting for the movie in Toronto.
Wadlow has been using his Twitter account to let fans have an inside peek of his films. Last week, the director had shared an image (see image) of Christopher Mintz-Plasse and the mysterious actress who was supposed to play the role of Mother Russia. Now, according to the website Bleeding Cool, the face of the actress is out. Mother Russia will be played by bodybuilder Olga Kurkulina (see photo), who will be the bodyguard of Red Mist. Here's a photo of an actress in the Mother Russia costume.
There is also a picture posted by Chloe Grace Moretz's brother, which shows her training (see photo). She is expected to play the role of Hitgirl. New images and a candid video of the shooting have been revealed by Comic Book Movie (see photo).
"For me, I'm very much the same, I'm back in the wet suit. But there are quite a few alterations on others. You'll see that there's not such a transition in him at first, but there is a journey that he goes on," Aaron Johnson, lead of the movie, told MTV. "I think there's a challenge in trying to make him grow as a person and develop. Have a journey and an arc, I think there's a challenge in that. But he's got to have some similarity to the last one."
Johnson also confirmed that there won't be any "disturbing things" from the comics appearing in the movie for Mintz-Plasse's role of Red Mist. Comic Book also said one of its readers saw "Mother Russia was being filmed ripping the door out of one police car and using it as a shield from police fire. She is then seen running to the police officer who was firing at her and squashing him against the hood of the car."

In the comic book, the story follows Kick-Ass as he tries to form a team of "real-life" superheroes to fight against Red Mist, who is also forming a team of supervillians to defeat him.
The sequel to "Kick-Ass" will star Johnson, Jim Carrey, John Leguizamo, Donald Faison and Moretz. Kick-Ass 2 will be released in theatres June 28, 2013.
