‘Just Cause 3’ Release Date, News & Update: Multiplayer Mode Cancelled Indefinitely Says Lead Developer Cameron Foote

'Just Cause 3' Developer Cancels Multiplayer Mode

Bad news for fans waiting for the multiplayer mode of "Just Cause 3" as lead developer Cameron Foote announced, it won't be coming soon. After advertising his need for a chief creator on the multiplayer mode of the game, Foote said it's inevitable for him to be able to concentrate on future and present projects.

Unfortunately for the fans, Foote's departure on the development of "Just Cause 3" multiplayer means, it will not pursue and all plans to have it developed has been cancelled. Although the team has not totally cancelled the Just Cause 2 multiplayer mode, this news came as somewhat disappointing.

Clearly, it isn't a priority; for Foote or the rest of the team working on "Just Cause 3." Citing the limited time they have to fully concentrate on the mode, he basically implied not to wait for it and experience the rest of the game's other features.

According to EuroGamer, despite Foote's announcement, there's a separate team working on the game who are developing a similar mode, yet it can't be actually labeled as a multiplayer. That, we'll have to see once the game announces its latest updates.

In his official blog site, Foote said that his apparent transfer to Avalanche Studios will likely bring more fun to Avalanche games, specially when he will attempt to put in some ideas taken from JC2-MP. He also said that while he won't be actively pursuing any new contents for Just Cause 2 multiplayer, Foote said he will continue to work on the game in terms of bug fixes, stability and quality.

He also thanked the fans who remained committed to playing the game and hopes to maintain good relationship with them by promising to see through a quality gaming experience on "Just Cause 3" and Just Cause 2 multiplayer. Get yourself updated on the latest news about "Just Cause 3" multiplayer by regularly checking on GamenGuide.com
