Adventure video game "Minecraft: Story Mode" is releasing its seventh episode next week. Fans would be glad to know that Episode 7, titled "Access Denied," will be released on Android, iOS, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One this Tuesday, July 26.
Produced by Jennifer Hill and Lleslle Schroeder, "Minecraft: Story Mode" Episode 7 will find Jesse and his gang in search of home, as they come across a world controlled by the villainous "thinking machine" called PAMA, whose goal is to gain control of everyone.
According to Polygon, Episode 7 is part of the Adventure Pass expansion of the original "Minecraft: Story Mode," which is three episodes long. Episode 7 will feature the voice of actress Yvette Nicole Brown, who will play Harper, the creator of the devious PAMA. Brown is best known for her roles in "Drake & Josh" and "Community," and her film roles in "Tropic Thunder" and "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters."
Other stars who have lent their voice to "Minecraft: Story Mode" are actor and comedian Patton Oswalt ("Ratatouille," "The King of Queens," "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."), Ashley Johnson ("Blindspot"), Brian Posehn ("The Sarah Silverman Program"), Martha Plimpton ("The Real O'Neals"), Scott Porter ("Scorpion"), and Corey Feldman.
"Minecraft: Story Mode" launched its first two episodes in October, followed by Episode 3 in November, and Episode 4 in December. Episode 5 was released in March. According to PC Gamer, Telltale Games initially announced "Minecraft: Story Mode" as a five-part episodic adventure, but surprised fans when they announced three additional episodes.
