Millions of fans went totally berserk when Sony first announced that PS4 NEO is going to be out later this year. However, recent news have suggested that PS4 NEO is definitely in the works but it will be released until March 2017.
GameStop CEO Paul Raines hints PS4 NEO is arriving in March 2017
GameSpot has previously reported that PS4 Neo will be hitting game stores later this year after Sony allegedly announced it to the public. However, a new statement from GameStop CEO Paul Raines has debunked the report, claiming that nothing has been confirmed to be launched within the year.
According to GameSpot, Paul Raines recently appeared on CNBC wherein he emphasized that Microsoft will be releasing a new console in March 2017. However, he made it clear that either PS4 NEO or Xbox One S will be launching this year.
"Yes, there will be a new Nintendo console launch in March 2017," Paul Raines divulged to CNBC. "But remember, there are two different form factors: a PS4 NEO and an Xbox One new slim version. So there will be some activity and upgrades, along with the VR."
While this seem to be a good news, a GameStop representative had revealed to GameSpot that most viewers have misunderstood the statements of Paul Raines. The representative said that Paul Raines did not confirm any release date but, rather, he hinted that hardware upgrades for Xbox One S and PS4 NEO shall be expected within the year.
PS4 NEO set to arrive alongside the PS4.5 NEO in September 2016
While the release date of the PS4 NEO remains unconfirmed until now, GamenGuide has previously reported that PS4.5 NEO is totally hitting the world by storm in September 2016. With this reports, fans cannot help but speculate that the PS4 NEO could come together with the PS4.5 this FALL 2016.
Expected to become a better version of the PS4, the PS4.5 NEO is reportedly going to have larger memory capacity and its own WiFi connectivity that would allow avid players to play game online. Sources have claimed that the PS4.5 Neo will have an initial price of $399, which would also likely to be the price of the PS4 NEO.
Though these reports could possibly be true, it must be noted that Sony has not yet confirmed any console details until now. Hence, fans should take everything with a grain of salt until proven true.
