‘Dead Rising' Latest News, Release Date & Update: Heads to PS4 Console, See What's In Store for You

So apparently, it's not only the PS4 console that's getting the original "Dead Rising" game as Eurogamer.

Recently confirmed, the XBox One console as well as the PC platform will also get the game. In a recent announcement by Capcom, it said "Capcom will be bringing Dead Rising to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. In addition, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will make their way onto Xbox One and PS4. We will have more news to share soon."

Take note that, "Dead Rising 2" and "Dead rising 2: Off the Record" have previously been launched on the PC platform, making console gamers more interested on the game than those who have played it on the PC platform.

Talks about the game being a remastered one emerged when it was announced that it will also be launched on the Xbox One console. Of course, all Xbox 360 users know that at one point, "Dead Rising" was a Microsoft exclusive and that was back in 2006.

Now, "Dead Rising 4" is about to arrive and with its extended home pointing directly to the PS4 console, fans can't wait til it launches in December.

News however suggests that, "Dead Rising 4' will remain an Xbox one exclusive; that's at least for a whole one year contract. This raises concern on the game's apparent debut on the PS4 console. Could it be that Capcom will just release a "Dead Rising 4' remake for the PS4 console and wait for the Xbox One time exclusive to expire?

Or will Microsoft release its exclusive contract with the developer and let other consoles take the game? Capcom has not given any details on the exclusivity of the game, or whether it's going to be a remaster. Meantime, let's just rejoice on the idea that "Dead Rising" is coming to the PS4 console.
