Xbox is finally releasing its much-anticipated new console, the Xbox One S. The upgraded version of the popular Microsoft video gaming brand has been scheduled for Aug. 2 release.

Initially announced at the E3 2016, the Xbox One S looks like the original Xbox One, but it is smaller in size and comes with more innovative features. Its visuals and frame rate is also much better compared to the older units.

On July 19, via blog post on Major Nelson website, director of programming for Microsoft's Xbox Live, Lawrence Hryb said, "Last month, we revealed a new member of the Xbox One family, the Xbox One S. Today, we are excited to announce that the highly-anticipated 2TB Xbox One S launch edition will begin hitting shelves in select regions on Aug. 2."

Special Feature of Xbox One S

It boasts of 4K Ultra HD with High Dynamic Range (HDR) support for both gaming and video. With the feature, users will get to enjoy playing or watching movies that looks amazingly real. The video is so crisp and clear that viewing will always be a pleasurable experience.

Where it will be released?

According to Wired UK, the newest Microsoft console will initially be available in
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK and the United States.

The units will be limited on the launching date so it would be better to place orders in advance. Microsoft also stated that Xbox One S will also come to other regions and they will announced the locations later this year.

Pricing and Xbox One S Bundle

The 2TB Xbox One S has a tag price of $399 in the U.S. and it will cost £349 in the U.K. The rest of Europe can get the console for €399. The 1TB and 500 GB versions are also available in the United Kingdom for £299.99 and £249.99, respectively.

The Xbox One S is budled with the latest version of Xbox wireless controller with bluetooth support. If bought separately, the controller will cost $59.99.

Finally, Microsoft is already accepting pre-orders. Game enthusiasts who already placed their orders will have the advantage of getting the console right before the official release date.
