‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Movie Posters Revealed (Check 'em Out Here!)

Disney movies have the ability to bring a lot of us back to our younger years, when all that mattered was ice cream and 8-bit graphics. Such is the case for Disney's new movie, "Wreck-It-Ralph," a nostalgic video game throwback featuring some of the most famous heroes and villains from the video game world of various franchises, who you'll see on some of the movie's recently released posters. Check 'em out below!

If you can't recognize some of the characters above, you're in dire need of a videogame history lesson. Well-known characters Mario and Luigi were not involved because Nintendo demanded a higher fee for their licenses.

The story is about the meat-fisted Ralph, a character from the arcade video game, Fix-It Felix Jr., who is tired of being the bad guy, forever overshadowed by the hero of the game, Felix. Ralph escapes from the his game and travels throughout the length of the arcade to prove that he is a good guy.

During his adventures, which span across every generation of video games, he meets Sergeant Calhoun from the first-person action game Hero's Duty and helps her in the battle against "Cy-Bugs", the game's alien invaders.

Ralph realizes his dream when he enters the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, where he accidentally releases an enemy with the potential to destroy the entire arcade. He meets Vanellope von Schweetz, an outcast, and learns that he is one who unleashed the terror. He proves his mettle and saves the day for poor little von Schweetz. He finally comes into his own, becoming a hero.

"Wreck-It-Ralph" is an animated 3-D movie produced by Disney.

It will be directed by Rich Moore, director of popular cartoon shows "The Simpsons" and "Futurama." The movie will feature the voices of John C. Reilly for Ralph, Jack McBrayer for Felix, Jane Lynch for Sergeant Calhoun and Sarah Silverman for Vanellope von Schweetz.

A Flash-based Fix-It Felix Jr. game is also available. Disney also announced in June 2012 that they will release a tie-in game based on the movie for Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo DS. Disney released the movie's official trailer last week, which you can watch below.

"Wreck-It Ralph" hits theatres on November 2.
