'No Man's Sky' Release Date, Trailer & Updates: Latest Trailer Shows Off Stunning Battles [Watch]

A series of videos are being released to show the various features and gameplay mechanics of "No Man's Sky." The second and latest "No Man's Sky" trailer showcases the epic space battles that players can engage in during the game.

Earlier in July 2016, a "No Man's Sky" video centered on exploration. The start of the video showed the No Man's Sky title together with the caption "Guides to the Galaxy." There were four main actions involved, namely explore, fight, trade and survive.

The first video highlighted Explore, while the second video highlighted Fight. There will expectedly be at least two more videos that focus on the trading and survival aspects of the "No Man's Sky" game.

Polygon reported that "No Man's Sky" allows gamers to join epic space battles in outer space. There will also be ground-based combat where players can shoot at alien enemies. The trailer properly presented how players will be involved in combat sequences.

There were several scenes from within the cockpit. The pilot was shooting at other enemy aircraft, as well as bigger behemoths hovering over planets.

One scene showed the player on the grasslands, firing at alien creatures and droids. The combat sequences highlighted how "No Man's Sky" players get to fight both on the surface up to the sky.

Sony announced that the next two "No Man's Sky" videos will be released in the following weeks, which will present the final two core pillars of the game.

The "No Man's Sky" game has reportedly reached gold, which means that the development process is already complete. Gamers will have to save up 6GB of drive space to install the game.

GameSpot noted that Hello Games recently settled a legal battle over the "No Man's Sky" title, which lasted three years. In the end, the title was allowed to be kept.

"No Man's Sky" was initially supposed to launch in June 2016, but the release date was postponed to August since the game developer needed to polish some key moments. "No Man's Sky" boasts of a massive universe where players can travel from one planet to another.

The new trailer hinted that the creators are already confident about their finished work.

"No Man's Sky" is scheduled to launch on Aug. 9, 2016. The game will also release in Europe on August 10, and in the United Kingdom on August 12. Pre-ordering is currently available.

More updates and details are expected soon.
