Niantic CEO John Hanke has dropped some interesting news for "Pokemon GO" during the recently-concluded Comic-Con. Attended by approximately 6,000 people, here are some things discussed during the said event:

'Pokemon GO' game development talks

Niantic CEO John Hanke and Nerdist founder Chris Hardwick were interviewed during the event. Reports say John Hanke talked about "Pokemon GO" and the server failures that players are complaining about.

John Hanke stated that the company is sorry for the servers failures. He added that the people behind "Pokemon GO" are doing their best to keep a good look on what is needed to be fixed.

Moreover, John Hanke said any development on rare pokemons is very unlikely to happen. He said that Niantic is making some new ways to make the gamers of "Pokemon GO" interested in the coming months.

Aside from that, John Hanke added that some of the rare pokemons have not been added yet due to the server issues. If the basic problems will be addressed, then the company will make additions on "Pokemon GO" game.

'Pokemon GO' latest feature for Pokestops

In the "Pokemon GO" game, a pokestop is a real-world location where a player can get items and place lures to catch pokemons. In Comic-Con, John Hanke revealed that the company will make pokestops a larger part of the game by making it a pokecenter where a player can heal their pokemons in accordance with the original video game that "Pokemon GO" is based on.

'Pokemon GO' trading and new team leaders

Moreover, John Hanke also stated that trading pokemon will soon come. Meanwhile, the audience at Comic-Con had the first look on the design of the three team leaders of the respective groups in the "Pokemon GO" game. The leaders will function as guide for the players, assisting and giving advices on how and where to catch pokemons.

There is no exact date as to when the new add-ons for "Pokemon GO" are going to be launched. However, Niantic promised to keep working on it as the company keeps the servers up and running.
