WWE 2K17 roster additions were recently revealed for the upcoming wrestling game by 2K Sports. This time, it appears that the McMahon family will once again dominates the digital version of the sports when WWE 2K17 release date arrives.
Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon will join the WWE 2K17 as playable character. The announcement was made by Stephanie in a Twitter post from her personal account. In her post, Stephanie announced "It's a family affair! Catch @VinceMcMahon, @shanemcmahon, and I in #WWE2K17! Check out @ IGN for Roster Reveal info."
Stephanie, Shane and Vince join other professional wrestling stars who were already confirmed to be part of the WWE 2K 17 roster. These include Shinsuke Nakamura, Nia Jax, Sasha Banks and Apollo Crews who are newcomers to the gaming franchise this year, reports Games Radar.
At the moment, there are 27 confirmed playable characters in the WWE 2K17 roster. However, this is not the final count; more additions to the WWE 2K17 are expected in the coming weeks leading to the WWE 2K17 release date.
By the way, gaming insiders say something is cooking up with regards to Shane McMahon. Specifically, the amped hype about his return to the WWE 2K17 roster could mean that Shane has a greater role to play in the upcoming game.
According to The Bit Bag, it appears that the WWE 2K17 showcase mode would be focusing on Shane McMahon this time. This is actually a good guess since aside from being a member of the McMahon family who, incidentally, owns WWE, Shane has a pretty solid career in professional wrestling.
Shane McMahon is a formidable and fearless wrestler that can hold his own against fellow pro wrestlers. He was an Alliance member back in 2001 and even went as far as the main event in the Survivor Series for that year. In addition, wrestling fans should know that Shane is not shy in joining Hardcore matchers proving his worth.
The coming weeks should be interesting for fans of the gaming franchise. More pro wrestlers are sure to join the WWE 2K17 roster playable character in the days ahead.
WWE 2K17 release date is scheduled this coming October 11, 2016. The title will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
