'Gear Of Wars 4' Release Date, News & Update: Set To Join Microsoft's E-Tournament, $1 Million Prize At Stake

There are games that are meant to be simply games, while there are also games that have higher stakes involved like "Gears Of War 4," who has definitely levelled up and moved past offering plaques and badges as the winners' prizes.  The said game became a highly covetable hobby when Microsoft announced its participation in the eSports Pro Circuit with an amazing cash prize of $1 million.

The exciting participation of "Gears of War 4" in the eSports Pro Circuit is like golden music to the ears of e-players because they can now get more than enjoyment from the said game.  The eSports competition comprises of different global tournaments and all players who own a copy of the game can join.

The online game tournament is scheduled to be launched in Nov. and will reportedly roll out in a span of ten months.  The general mechanics of the game requires participants to win in both daily and weekly tournaments.  The e-competition of "Gears Of War 4' will let players from all around the world battle against each other until the tourney reaches five final teams who will be vying for the grand prize.

Gfinity and the Major League of Gaming are deadset on encouraging online players to reach out, step out of their comfort zone and participate in the e-tournament by offering a prize of up to $1 million.  On another note, fans and players of "Gears Of War" will have to make do with their old version because the latest version of the game is set to be released by Oct.

The battle culmination of "Gears Of War 4," along with other games that are part of the eSports Pro Circuit, will take place in 2017.  The up and coming e-tournament sponsored by Microsoft, Major League Gaming and Gfinity is surely something worth waiting for by Nov.
