The month of August has arrived and Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners would be happy to know that new deals are out now. Gamers will be able to save big on many popular game titles through the Xbox Live deals with Gold and Spotlight Sale promotions.

But just like most of the promos on games and consoles, the discounts are only available for a limited time. Also, aside from the price cuts, new DLCs are expected to be released within this month.

Gamers who are Xbox Live Gold subscribers will have access to downloadable free games and entitled to higher discounts. For this month, four free games awaits owners of Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles.

For Xbox One, the free titles are "Warriors Orochi3 Ultimate" and "WW2K16." Normally, the said games retail in the market for $59.99 and $39.99, respectively.

The "WW2K16" is quite a catch because it is considered as one of the mainstream games these days, so it is not to be missed. The "Warriors" is ready for download from Aug. 1 to 31 while "2K16" is offered from Aug. 16 to Sept. 15.

Free games for Xbox 360 are "Spelunky" and "Beyond Good & Evil" HD. The former is available on Aug. 1-15 while the latter is downloadable from Aug. 16 to 31.

Moreover, as announced on Major Nelson, some of the discounted games on Xbox include "Battleborn Digital Deluxe (50% off) ," "Dishonored Definitive Edition (40% off)," "DOOM Digital Deluxe (30% off)," "Fallout 4 (50% off)," "Plants and Zombies Garden Warfare 2 (50% off)," "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Imperial Edition (60% off), "The Evil Within (75% off), "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Seige (50% off)" and "Wolfenstein: The Old Blood"(50% off).

Xbox One Gold subscribers must take note that the price cuts are only until Aug. 8. Add-on deals are also offered on Xbox Store Games.
