Square Enix has recently announced the Season Pass for "Final Fantasy XV" and it will allow players to order additional content for the game. The Digital Premium Edition that went live on PS4 today is said to contain the Season Pass and the game itself for the amount of $84.99. Gematsu said, the Season Pass Upgrade on the other hand is applicable to players who previously downloaded the game, but who wish to get the Season Pass too.
As early as June, during the E3 2016 event, "Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata revealed that, the Season Pass digital contents for the game are almost complete. He also shed some important information about these contents and though he did not elaborate much, hints like costumes and additional content stories were also discussed.
Just recently, the Season Pass was added to the Japanese PlayStation Store and it specified some of the contents that will be available. It include a Booster Pack, Episode Gladiolus, Holiday Pack, Episode Ignis, Episode Prompto, and an Expansion Pack
In Japan, the "Final Fantasy XV" Season Pass costs around 2,700Yen. According to the developers recent revelation, these aren't the only ones expected of the Season Pass. In fact, they have prepared more surprises that can only be discovered upon downloading the Season Pass.
Director Tabata in the recent panel said, the "Final Fantasy XV" will have to sell at least 10 million copies in order to be considered a success in the videogame market. Square Enix is expected to release more details about the Season Pass as the date of release nears. Meantime, the six DLC packs are confirmed on the Season Pass.
