'No Man’s Sky' Latest News & Update: Weapons Multi-tool, Ship Weaponry, & Everything You Need To Know

After years of waiting, the launch of "No Man's Sky" is finally coming. To better know more about this upcoming space exploration action-adventure game, these are the things you need to know.

"No Man's Sky" is a universe exploration game with over 18 quintillion planets. You will get to explore undiscovered planets, mine resources and engage in space battles. In this "No Man's Sky's world", you are also simultaneously playing with other player so whatever you do can be felt by the others.

Different Weapons

Weapons in "No Man's Sky" come in different types.  Hello Games will surely bring a lot of combat in its latest game, from multi-tool to upgraded ones and ship weapons. These weapons will really come in handy for the player's survival.

Multi-Tool

In an interview with Sean Murray by Edge Magazine, The weapons in "No Man's Sky" are not just guns. They are multi-tools that can be used from scanning objects to starting extinction on planets. They are also used to check mining sites.

Ship Weaponry

If you are on space, you will get attacked sentinels that guard the planet. Hello Games confirmed that there will be two different spaceship weapons.

Photon Canon, which is the primary weapon, will be used as an option with Phase Beam. This weapon can be used in destroying asteroids and for direct attacks. Phase Beam has the same function as Photon Canon. Players will need to collect resources in order to upgrade these weapons. Four technologies like grenades, projectiles, lasers and scan technologies are used mainly in upgrading which can be done in their weaponry. One needs to have powerful weapons in order to survive difficult levels so it is very essential to know how to collect and use weapons in "No Man's Sky."

Update 1.03

Sean Murray posted on No Man's Sky's official site shared his thoughts about the update of the game. After Murray posted on Twitter how they celebrated on the game's progress, he said that they are now in an intense spotlight and how deeply they cared about the first impressions of people about the game.

Murray added that they will keep on updating the game. he considered this update the first of many. The "No Man's Sky" latest update will be available on Monday for the press for reviews and for their launch on public for PCs and PS4 for FREE.

"Next up we're adding the ability to build bases and own giant space freighters. Temporal AA and my new cloud rendering tech should be coming soon too. It will really change the game again, and enhance it visually" Murray added.
