The Xbox One library just got updated recently with the addition of SSX. It is the latest free game for EA Access Vault subscribers who can play the full version of the extreme sports snowboarding game. SSX came out back in 2012.

Free playing to the exremes

SSX is best known to be played on the Xbox 360. Thanks to the Xbox backward compatibility program, EA Access members can enjoy it on the Xbox One for free.

SSX may not necessarily be new to some, particularly the ones who are long-time Xbox Live Gold members. The game was part of the Games With Gold in December, 2014 and some avid gamers may have already come across it.

Snowboarding is a curious sport to take up, perhaps one of only a few ones gamers can consider in the market. The only other game title that comes close is Ubisoft’s Steep. Other than that, this is one game genre that is scarce.

Signing up for EA Access

For the ones who are not enrolled to the Xbox EA Access program, it is never too late to sign up. Membership for EA Access costs $5 a month or $30 a year for the ones who choose to get the annual package.

There are a lot of games to access in the Vault with gamers getting special deals and discounts as well on select digital EA purchases. Signing up also allows EA Access members to qualify for early access to select games.

Are you ready for the challenge?

Though SSX is a game that has been around for quite some time now, it offers games an alternative when most have grown bored of the current crop of game titles on their end. SSX will be the 24th game added to “The Vault” for EA Access, a rebooted game that broadens the choices gamers are in search of.
