'Pokemon Sun And Moon' Latest News & Update: Leaks Confirmed In New Trailer; Meet The Villains [Watch]

A new "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer was recently launched, featuring a number of water-type Pokemon, as well as the villains in the upcoming game. The enemies, called Team Skull, are expected to stir some trouble for the main characters in "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" clip lasted three minutes, showing several Pokemon in the process. The first to appear was Wishiwashi (Solo Form), a water-type Pokemon with the Schooling ability. The Pokemon looked like a plain fish in its Solo Form and was easily terminated by Gyarados. However, when it reaches a certain level and turns into its School Form, Wishiwashi looked like a big whale consisting of several of its earlier basic form, blasting its enemies with powerful water attacks.

The next Pokemon, Pyukumuku, followed, which is also a water-type with the Innards Out ability. Morelull followed, a grass/fairy-type Pokemon that has the Illuminate and Effect Spore ability. The two Pokemon were most likely in their first form and are expected to turn into more powerful creatures after evolution in "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

Polygon said that Team Skull was also showcased in the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer. The enemy group was described as a crew of rejects who aim to cause destruction to the world of Pokemon. Their main purpose is still unknown or whether they are working for a more powerful villain.

In the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" video, Plumeria, the big sister of Team Skull, was featured. She also has a couple of brothers who seemed to be less powerful. Guzma was also introduced, the big boss of Team Skull.

The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer also hinted that there will be more regional variants discovered in the upcoming game. The Alola Form of Meowth was shown, a dark-type Pokemon with the Pickup/Technician ability. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will also have the Alola Form of Marowak, a fire/ghost-type Pokemon with the Cursed Body/Lightning Rod ability.

The Alola Form of Raichu was featured next, an electric/psychic-type Pokemon with the Surge Surfer ability. The Alolan Raichu's speed can allegedly double when the electric terrain becomes active.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" will launch on Nov. 18, 2016 on Nintendo 3DS. More updates and details on "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are expected soon.
