'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Zombies Mode Release Date, News & Update: Twitter Teasers Reveal 'Disco Devil'

'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Zombies Mode Release Date, News & Update: Twitter Teasers Reveal 'Disco Devil'

The first teaser for the Zombies Mode of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" has recently been launched by Activision. The reveal originated from the official Twitter account of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare."

An image was provided by the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Twitter account, showing two large wooden-bordered frames with movie posters against a wall with cracking yellow paint. The picture seemed to have been taken inside the lobby or just outside a movie theater.

The two frames were illuminated from above. The first picture, titled "Disco Devil," showed the silhouette of a man busting his movies on the dance floor. The poster included an unreadable caption at the top. The second frame was noticeably blank.

The "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Twitter account captioned the mysterious image, "Burning up the dance floor took on a whole new meaning in Willard Wyler's DISCO DEVIL, setting box office records on fire." The hashtag #IWZombies was added.

SegmentNext explained that the two posters in the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" image could mean that there will be two unique settings for the Zombies Mode of the game. However, everything remains in speculation until an official announcement for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is released.

Express noted that the Zombies mode of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will most likely follow a movie theme, based on the recent teaser image. A follow-up tweet stated that audiences will never forget the horror masterpiece "Nightmare Summer' by director Willard Wyler. This may be the second theme of the Zombies mode.

It is the first time that Infinity Ward will launch a Zombies mode to the game. When the game developer worked on "Ghosts," an Extinction mode was added, which featured aliens. Although "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" initially garnered mixed reactions from fans because of its futuristic setting, the game received a lot of positive feedback from players after they showed a new "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" gameplay video.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is set to launch on Nov. 4, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. More updates and details are expected soon.
