‘No Man’s Sky’ Guide, Tips & Tricks: No Antimatter For Hyperdrive? Here’s How To Get One

If your goal is to reach the center of the universe in "No Man's Sky," your most important task is to craft warp cells for your hyperdrive fuel. At the start of the game, you might get stuck mining and just enjoying the scenery. But if you want to move fast, remember to always look for the most valuable resources in the planet.

There are two elements needed to craft a warp cell so "No Man's Sky" players can hyperdrive your ship into another star system. Thamium9 is quite common on planets, and when you first get into your ship, you might actually get some. Blast those asteroids as you go up and you will get more of this matter. A hundred of Thamium9 is needed to warp a cell.

The second element, which is the Antimatter, needs to be crafted first before "No Man's Sky" players can use it to warp cells for hyperdrive. In "No Man's Sky," there are many friendly settlers who are willing to reward you with Antimatter with no strings attached. But as you go on your journey, you are on your own.

So, how do you craft an AntiMatter? All "No Man's Sky" players need are three ingredients: one electron vapour, 50 heridium and 20 zinc. The crafting recipe for an electron vapour is already unlocked even at the start of the game. Heridium is quite expensive when you buy it from space stations because it is very rare to mine. Try blasting a big rock whenever you see one. Chances are it has huge deposit of the mineral.

If you do not want to craft your own warp cells for your hyperdrive, there are other options. Socialization is a must when playing "No Man's Sky." Interact with the Alien Monoliths and they just might give you a warp cell for your hyperdrive.

For players who pre-ordered a bonus ship and found that they do not have a hyperdrive, "No Man's Sky" developer said they could simply go to the nearest NPC to get what they need.
