The game Medal of Honor: Warfighter will hit PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U Tuesday, but where are the reviews of the game? Electronic Arts will allegedly not be "sending out the review codes" until the game is launched, Examiner reported.
"Just want to talk a little about our MoH: Warfighter review. Our review is going up pretty late," online site Gametrailers said in its podcast. "EA has decided not to send us copies of the game until the day it ships. If you've watched the show over the last few years, I think you know: BUYER BEWARE, maybe?"
The information has been confirmed by Chris Kohler of Wired in his Tweet, "Medal of Honor: Warfighter review copies will arrive the day the game releases. Caveat emptor."
Kevin VanOrd of Gamespot Tweeted, "@messofanego That is true; we did not receive review copies of Medal of Honor. We won't start playing until the game is released."
EA does not want any negative criticism before the game is released.
The beta version of Medal of Honor: Warfighter was available exclusively for Xbox players from Oct. 5 to Oct. 15.
This first-person shooter game is a direct sequel to 2010's Medal of Honor. The game will run on DICE's Frostbite 2. It is developed by Los Angeles-based Danger Close Games that has also developed the MoH franchise's previous installments.
The game will feature deep customization of the player's appearance and weapons. The player will be able to equip different barrels, muzzles, magazines, stocks, optics, and paint jobs of the weapon.
Users can play the Special Forces of 11 countries, allowing each Special Force team to have their own specialties.
