Gamers around the world are awaiting the arrival of next-generation consoles from Microsoft and Sony. The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2013's official website provides hints of a probable revelation of a new console. The idea of such a possibility will thrill gamers worldwide.
In its registration section, the website provides some interesting notes, as identified by Examiner:
"This is the year. This is the E3 you won't want to miss."
"See What's Next in Video Games at E3 2013."
"E3 brings you to the epicenter of the video game industry. Experience the latest in ground-breaking technologies and test-drive products for consoles, PCs, mobile phones, handheld systems and the Internet," the note on E3 2013's website reads.
E3 2013 will take place in Los Angeles, between June 11-13. It will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
It's been seven years since the Xbox 360 launched in the market. Various reports have surfaced regarding Microsoft's Xbox 720. Many analysts and reporters have given a tentative period of 2013-end for the Xbox 720's release.
Reports have suggested that the next-generation Microsoft console will have a Blu-ray disk instead of DVD drive. The PS 3 already has Blu-ray player.
This holiday season, Microsoft and Sony will market aggressively. Microsoft announced Saturday that their gaming console Xbox 360's prices have been slashed by $50 for the holiday season. Microsoft sold 70 million Xbox 360 consoles worldwide in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2013.
Many popular gaming titles might also introduce new games, which will be crafted for these next-generation consoles.
