'Battlefield 1' Latest News & Update: Open Beta To Arrive on the Last Day of the 2016 Gamescom

Battlefield 1 Open Beta Arrives on the Last Day of August

The upcoming Gamescom is all hyped up as it kick starts the event on August 18, 2016. But before that, EA DICE has announced the "Battlefield 1" Open Beta this coming 31st of August 2016. Members of the Battlefield Insider will be able to enjoy an early access to the game. For those who are not registered, but wish to experience the "Battlefield 1" Open Beta, they can still sign up until the 21st of August to experience the game.

For the "Battlefield 1" Open Beta, players will be able to access the Sinai Desert map. The East of El-Jifar will host the location of the scrimmage. It's hot, it's scorching, but players will need to survive the mode in order to advance. Reinforcements such as the Behemoth; an armored train will also be featured as a reinforcements to players.

Aside from the Sinai Desert map, the "Battlefield 1" Open Beta will include two modes mainly the "Conquest" and "Rush." The "Conquest" mode requires at least 64 players to merge in order to achieve a common goal. The mode mixes heroes by foot, behind the wheels and the Behemoth. Not far from its description is what they call the Battlefield All-Out-War.

"Rush" on the other hand includes a 24 player game mode wherein the Attacking Force will have to destroy the Telegraph Post by the Defending Force. In order for the Defenders to protect the Telegraph Post, they must deactivate all the explosives planted by the Attacking Force in the nearby Telegraph Post.

In the "Battlefield 1" Open Beta, players are encouraged to form their own group in order to complete the missions. Take note, everyone can still sign up until August 21 and on August 31, the "Battlefield 1" open beta will be launched.
