Nintendo NX Latest News & Update: Potential Patent Rumors Detailed; Hardware More Advanced Than Presumed?

Nintendo NX is one piece of gaming equipment that many have waited to hear about for the longest time. Since only bits and pieces of news were sent out to the public, fresh details about the hardware has spilled out to the public.

There were considerably many instances in the past wherein Nintendo has chosen to keep secrets to the public in terms of the Nintendo NX. Such secrecy has then changed as soon as Nintendo revealed what fans can expect from the new piece of hardware.

According to Nintendo Life, the patent was authentically given to the public last 2014. The Nintendo NX hardware highlights multiple controller configurations which are obtained via a modular design; a d-pad is detachable from the device's sidings with face buttons to attach and replace it.

The Nintendo NX is said to be handheld, IGN reports. Similar to other gaming hardware, the Nintendo NX can be connected to a television set with a docking port, and comes with detachable controllers as well.

As some may not know, a file for a patent application was sent in July for a new kind of handheld device. Only days ago, one other following application spoke of removable controllers that served as additional feats, which further instigated the rumors on what could be the Nintendo NX.

Some other rumors speak of Nintendo NX having the capacity to download games to the handheld unit. This could mean that the hardware will most likely not have the usual optic disc drive and could lean towards digital downloads instead.

The Nintendo NX is expected to hit the stores by March 2017. Keep posted for more gaming news.
