'Pokemon Sun & Moon' News & Updates: New Antagonist Organization Revealed [VIDEO]

With every new entry in the main "Pokemon" franchise comes a local offshoot of the new evil group you'll be fighting as part of the story, and "Pokemon Sun & Moon"'s Alola region has its own, of course. We don't understand why there's always a terrorist organization trying to take over the Pokemon world, but hey, it's the world they live in. When you've got little critters with powers like that, who wouldn't try to weaponize them?

The latest Japanese trailer for "Pokemon Sun & Moon," which also revealed the awesome Alola forms of Generation 1 Pokemon Marowak, Meowth, and Raichu, also revealed Team Skull, which has to be up there as one of the better-sounding (if not a little corny) evil organizations in the entire series. They look like a bunch of modern-day pre-apocalypse "Mad Max" bandits/street kids and less like a well-oiled terrorist organization. We don't know what they're all about just yet, but calling yourselves Team Skull doesn't bode well for the rest of Alola.

Check that cool sounding theme out. We suppose the only thing wrong with Team Skull is that they really don't look fearsome and formidable, looking more like a street gang than a well-organized cult or political group. "Pokemon Sun & Moon" is taking great lengths to stand out in the storied "Pokemon" franchise, what with all the updates to old Pokemon and whatnot, so we'll just have to wait and see what kind of role Team Skull will be playing in the protagonist's story.

"Pokemon Sun & Moon" is coming to the Nintendo 3DS on November 18 later this year worldwide. European players will get it a week later on November 23. There will be a lot more trailers and info coming your way as we get closer to the release date, so just stay tuned.
