'Dishonored 2' Latest, News & Updates: Developer Claims 2nd Game Can Be Finished 'Without Killing'; Options For Violence Still Intact?

"Dishonored 2" is Arkane Studios' latest promise to the masses to follow the successful predecessor that set a high bar. With it, adventure and mystery seekers will need to find a different approach to the said second game.

With months to go before its release, "Dishonored 2" still has reasonable room for updates and news. That being said, the main people behind the said game detailed the ways in which the expansion can be accomplished.

According to VG 24/7, "Dishonored 2" Creative Director Harvey Smith was generous to give out information on how the said title can be played. As Smith spoke to PlayStation Access, one of the most interesting feats that the game has is the kill-free approach.

For those who may not be aware, the particular style existed back during the first "Dishonored" game. This way of playing is triggered by each level that serves as somewhat open world and permits players to make critical choices in "Dishonored 2."

As per Gaming Bolt, gamers can either go fully guilt-free of using powers in "Dishonored 2" which can also mean no killing in any way. In the same manner, high difficulties apparently offer more challenge, but the completion of which without resorting to kills could present fulfillment to daring players.

Though not a requirement, violence might still be an option in some cases; players can choose whether a chaotic approach will serve a purpose or the more subtle, stealthy method. Either way, players can utilize both "Dishonored 2" leads Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin at their disposal.

For some that may not be aware, "Dishonored 2" is the continuity of the story delivered by the original "Dishonored" game. Many years after what transpired in the first title, Emily now has her eyes set on taking out the corrupt makings of the government she lives in.

"Dishonored 2" is scheduled for release on November 11, 2016. It will be made available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
