For those who are still in the dark and thinks that "The Last Of Us" (TLFO) is a new romantic movie hitting cinemas soon, they might need to go outside and be updated because there are reports that there might be "The Last Of Us 2." To say that "The Last Of Us" has enthralled a lot of players, both men and women, is a total understatement.
TLOU can be considered as a rare, unique and endangered gem of a game because it is not full-on noisy and violent, partly falling into the mellow games category. However, do not underestimate the game for being mellow and, most importantly, do not assume that the game is boring because its storyline has brought home the bacon, which led to the fans begging for "The Last Of Us 2."
The people behind "The Last Of Us " were honest enough to say that they were supposedly on the planning stage, already dipping their toes on the water to make "The Last Of Us 2," from brainstorming about characters, plots, prototypes, soundtracks, down to all the other details needed to make the sequel. Tragically, their brainstorming got interrupted and shoved down the drain as they got busy with "Uncharted 4."
Although this report is met with utmost sadness from the fans, there is still a light shining in the darkness, sparkling the faintest idea that "The Last Of Us 2" would exist soon. But, time-frame wise, it is a dead end to hope that it would be released soon. A great game requires painstaking detailing and modifications, but it would be highly optimistic for gamers to expect "The Last Of Us 2" sometime in 2017.
As for the characters for "The Last Of Us 2," the TLOU fandom is divided between people who still want the original characters to stay while some desire for new characters combined with a new setting.
