"Dark Souls 3" has been considered as one of the top games this year and now they have yet another surprise for the fans.

According to Gamespot, the Dark Souls team had posted on Twitter talking about a big announcement coming for the From Software's action-RPG game "Dark Souls 3." Although the developer did not reveal any specific information, fans can be sure that they will be revealing details about the first DLC of "Dark Souls 3."

The DLC will be revealed on August 24 base on the tweet by the Dark Souls official account. This is said to be the first major DLC out of two that will be released for the game "Dark Souls 3" since its first launch back in March which received so many positive reviews despite having issues with the game in PC.

According to iTech Post, the first ever "Dark Souls 3" DLC is expected to introduce new features including new improved maps, high end weapons and tough bosses.

VG247 also said that the major "Dark Souls 3" announcement may be some sort of merchandise move and the developers might collaborate together with Sony and reveal some of their planned add-ons.

Although it is very possible that the announcement will be about the upcoming DLC, but we can never truly know what will be waiting for the fans. As for now, both From Software and Bandai Namco have remained mum about anything regarding the upcoming content aside from the tweet.

And It would probably be best for all "Dark Souls 3" fans to not set up high expectations and remain grounded with their proposed theories until August 24 arrive.
