'Pokemon Go' Latest News & Update: ‘Pokemon Go’ Craze Now Officially Over? Game's Rating Keeps Dropping By The Day?

"Pokemon Go" has been the most downloaded mobile app in the past month and it is being enjoyed by millions of players from different countries at present time. However, several avid gamers have noticed that the ratings of the augmented reality game has declined, which sparked reports that "Pokemon Go" craze is now over!

More or less 25 million gamers played "Pokemon Go" during its first week in the U.S. However, according to a report from Nintendo Life, the total number of active  "Pokemon Go" users had drastically dropped to 20 million.

Some critics of "Pokemon Go" have claimed that the drop is a clear sign that players are now starting to get uninterested to it anymore. However, Verto Analytics states retention rates for mobile games are usually low.

The report added that most popular mobile games has a retaining rate of 15% a month after the game's official release and 30% a week after the game's release. "Pokemon Go" has nearly 60% of retaining rate during its launch in July.

Even though "Pokemon Go" has already dropped its ratings, the mobile app still has an average of 400,000 downloads a day in the US alone with $2 million revenue a day, Monkey Intelligence reports. So, basically, Nintendo and Niantic are still pleased on the current performance of "Pokemon Go" in the market.

With that said, "Pokemon Go" must keep developing new ways to keep gamers from playing the game. Luckily, there are recent talks stating that a new "Pokemon Go" update is coming out very soon.

Sources say that ithe upcoming "Pokemon Go" update will feature a trading system and battle modes against players. However, no other details about it have been released as of yet. For more "Pokemon Go" news and updates, stay tuned to GamenGuide!
