'FIFA 17' Closed Beta Release Date & Latest News: Xbox One, PS4 Versions Now Available For Download; Schedule For iOS, Android Announced

The "FIFA 17" Closed Beta demo is currently available for download. Players who previously signed up for the demo should receive an email with the download code to start playing.

Some players who did not get the "FIFA 17" Closed Beta demo code may find the email in their spam folder. The email congratulated players on successfully registering for the "FIFA 17" Closed Beta. A warning appeared, requesting testers and players not to post gameplay video footage for public viewing. The message further referred to the upcoming "FIFA 17" as the best in the series to date.

Mobile&Apps reported that the "FIFA 17" Closed Beta demo code cannot be transferred to other players and is linked to the player's accounts on Live or PSN. The "FIFA 17" Closed Beta will run from Aug. 18 to 28, 2016. Gamers will receive the codes in phases, so some may download earlier than others, depending on their location.

GearNuke stated that the "FIFA 17" Closed Beta is only available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players at present. It has a file size of 17GB. Beta testers are also requested by EA Sports to post their feedback about "FIFA 17" on the Closed Beta Forums. There will be a link provided in the email leading to the forums.

The "FIFA 17" Closed Beta includes Pro Clubs, Career Mode and Ultimate Team. It also runs on the same engine as the "FIFA 17" demo that was presented at Gamescom 2016. The team and player ratings are also similar as those in "FIFA 16," which indicates that the team and player ratings have remained unchanged but will most likely be different as soon as the official "FIFA 17" is released. Earlier, EA Sports also showcased the card design for the "FIFA 17" Ultimate Team, which was approved by most fans.

Also, the team ratings of Barcelona in "FIFA 17" were allegedly leaked. However, some critics noted that some of the ratings were either too low or too high, which can mean that the leak is actually false.

"FIFA 17" is set to launch on Sept. 27, 2016 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, Android and iOS. More updates and details are expected soon.
