'Pokemon Go' Latest News & Update: Overall Balance Update and Other Game Modifications Revealed

A new update on the server of "Pokemon Go" was released secretly. For the sake of the game's being fair, players see the changes as a Balance Update as a bit of twitch on the statistics of the game is needed.

There were also no big adjustments of the game as per ComicBook.com. However, players that knew the update were satisfied on the preview of the small changes on the statistics of "Pokemon Go" contents.

"Pokemon Go" players were surprised when Niantic has released an unexpected update earlier this week. Though several gamers have updated their apps already, there are still a lot of things they do not know about the most-recent upgrade. In this article, GamenGuide will reveal all the modifications and new features each player could now enjoy.

One of the big changes of "Pokemon Go" update is the higher chances of catching rare Pokemon in common places.  Players who currently live in rural and suburban places will now have a higher rate of spawns. A lot of players have experienced travelling and moving from one city to another just to capture and hunt for Pokemons, especially those who are living in a suburban area.

Moreover, region-based Pokemons like Kangakhan and Mr.Mime will be spawning more often in their respective regions or places. The name of this "Pokemon Go" update is the Region Lock.

Another changes brought by the latest "Pokemon Go" update is the alterations in Pokemons' movesets ot the Pokemon abilities and their attacks. Gyrados, for example, will not have the Dragon Breath ability anymore; Chansey and Jiggly puff will be gaining more effects on charge attacks; while Koffing and Weezing will not have Acid ability.

Furthermore, some of the moves of the Pokemon are replaced. You can refer on this lead, which is posted on Reddit, for more information about the modifications of the Pokemon on "Pokemon Go."

Lastly, the Distance Tracking. The new feature brought by the latest "Pokemon Go" update has some modifications on how "Pokemon Go" players will be able to hatch the eggs that have been incubated.

The length of the distance that "Pokemon Go" players have travelled and their speed are measured by checking the position of the player every time in a different location. This way of measurement currently is resulting in to miscalculations on the exact travelled distance of the player such as not walking or moving on a straight line. To address this issue, there will be a frequent pinging of locations than the usual.

And to prevent the so called car cheat, the speed limit was minimized to 10 kilometers per hour from 20 kilometers per hour. This solution will force the players of "Pokemon Go" to move slower to make sure that they are not using any cheat to hatch the eggs. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Pokemon Go" news and updates!
