'Pokemon Go' Tips & Tricks, News & Update: New Game Code Secret Features And Major Changes To Incense Types, Trading

The new "Pokemon Go" update includes some references to major adjustments that may later be introduced in the hit mobile game. The released game code provided more hints on the new capabilities and features that may appear in future updates.

There will expectedly be new items that will become available in the "Pokemon Go" store. In the near future, "Pokemon Go" trainers can boost their arsenal with a number of incenses, including the Cool Incense and Floral Incense. The secret game code also hinted that the game may have new Egg Incubators.

SlashGear revealed that "Pokemon Go" may soon allow the trading of Pokemon among players. Niantic previously confirmed that a trade system was in development and will launch in a future update, without stating the exact timeline. Four trade-related actions were presented in the code, namely Trade Search, Trade Offer, Trade Response and Trade Result. It is still uncertain whether "Pokemon Go" players need to be physically near each other to trade.

Furthermore, the game code teased that there will be new legendary Pokemon coming to the game. The names of Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos have been spotted in the game code. Players are optimistic that Mew and Mewtwo will also arrive in "Pokemon Go" soon. One reference in the game code stated that one activity will allow the catching of legendary Pokemon. This could mean that trainers may capture any of the legendaries in the wild.

Forts were also included in the "Pokemon Go" game code, which could merely be references to Pokestops or Gyms, or an entirely new location type. The fort code included actions like Deploy Pokemon and Recall Pokemon, although players cannot confirm how these will work during the game. The latest update also included notes on Buddy Pokemon with references like Buddy Walked Message and Buddy Candy.

Finally, the "Pokemon Go" app file had a folder labeled VR, with a platform and Cardboard folder inside. "Pokemon Go" may soon feature Google VR support as well.

Yahoo reported that in the meantime, Niantic Labs released a new update where trainers can learn more about a Pokemon's attack and defense traits. More updates and details on "Pokemon Go" are expected soon.
