Apple iPhone 6S & Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Speed Test Reveal Something Shocking

Tech experts compared the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and the Apple iPhone 6S in a series of tests that included speed test, scratch test as well as a drop test. Despite a lot of criticisms, iPhone 6S still managed to pass all the tests with amazing results and emerge as the better smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7, believed to be a tough competitor, couldn't much impress the experts when it came to the speed test. The Samsung smartphone is most-definitely a strong contender to many flagships but whether it is as good as an iPhone 6S is a matter of intense debate.

According to Forbes, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has a 4GB RAM and speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor or Exynos 8 Octa processor, depending on the region. That's about double the amount of RAM in Apple's iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. Even then the Galaxy Note 7 android phone was left behind the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.

The speed test involved opening a plethora of apps in both the devices. As per iTech Post, the apps were allowed to load fully before they were closed to proceed to the next one. The test aimed at determining how much time the Apple iPhone 6S and Samsung Galaxy Note 7 took to load the apps.

The speed test also determined how many of the apps the smartphones were able to retain after a number of apps were loaded. Both the phones were superfast initially when only a few apps were opened. However, when more and more apps were opened, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 started lagging constantly whereas the Apple iPhone 6S kept up its speed.

Surprisingly, the speed test revealed that iPhone 6S took less time in opening and closing all the apps twice compared to Galaxy Note 7 that staggered to finish the same set of apps even once although specifications-wise, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is way ahead of the iPhone 6S.
