‘The Sims 5’ News & Update: Latest News, Updates & Release Date; Plus, The Sims 4 DLC Coming This Holiday Season

Currently, the same situation stands firm; do not expect "The Sims 5" unless "The Sims 4" records significant numbers. Producer Grant Rodiek previously mentioned that, they are not actually creating any sort of sequel to "The Sims 4." He further detailed that, if "The Sims 4" will not make any significant improvement in terms of sales, there won't be any Sims 5 coming.

Meanwhile, "The Sims 4" DLC is expected to arrive this holiday season and is entitled City Life. Currently, there are no details about the new DLC, but, could this be an indication that the developer is gearing up for the "The Sims 5?"

Just recently, fans became skeptical about the latest tweet posted by producer Dave Miotke. In his twitter post, he mentioned "5M" indicating 5 million sales on "The Sims 4?" A fan then commented saying, "TS2 sold 6 million copies on PC during it's lifespan, TS4 5 million in a year and a half. Just putting that into perspective."

Miotke downplayed the comment and appeared to agree with the fan posting, "Top selling PC game last year. :) But hey, who trusts numbers? What's your gut say?" has this been the norm in tracing whether "The Sims 5" is really coming?

Without any firm confirmation that "The Sims 5" is coming, fans are rather limited to enjoy the upcoming Sims 4 DLC entitled CIty Life. The DLC may also been an indication, Maxis is trying to revive "The Sims 4," see if it will pick up and work their way up to study whether "The Sims 5" is viable.

The City Life DLC will feature street markets, city penthouses, food carts and different types of neighborhood. Are you excited to try "The Sims 4" DLC? What do you think of "The Sims 5" future in Maxis? Don't miss the important updates about "The Sims 5" by reading them here on GameNGuide
