Xbox One Backward Compatibility Program Latest News & Update: Two New Game Titles Added

Two more games have been added to the Xbox One backward compatibility list with “Forza Horizon” and “Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse”. Both games are part of the Games with Gold for September 2016.

“Forza Horizon”, is one of the free games for the Xbox 360 this September which can be downloaded for free by Games with Gold members as mentioned in a previous post. “Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse” will reportedly be delisted on September 2, 2016, Game informer reported.

Xbox One owners who want to download the new additions can do so though the case of “Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse” may not last long, thus a title requiring priority.  With the addition of “Forza Horizon” and “Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse," the list of backward compatible games for the Xbox One has now ballooned to over 230 games. More game titles are expected to be added soon, recalling the promise of Microsoft to bring in hundred more.

For those who want to find out the available game titles for the Xbox One backward compatibility program, Game Spot has a list that you can check out here. While the list does include a lot of familiar game titles, the addition of other famed titles will depend a lot on the game publishers and developers.
