'Hitman' Latest News & Updates: Complete First Season Retail Launch Confirmed For January 2017; Here's Everything That's Included

"Hitman: The Complete First Season" which contains all the previous content for the hit action game so far, will be out on Jan. 31, 2017. This ultimate collection will be released in a steelbook and features over 100 hours of gameplay, including all of the season one locations and episodes. Publisher Square Enix, in addressing where Agent 47 has been, says that he "has been to France, Italy, Morocco, and Thailand, among other locations."

PC Gamer reports that this edition has been named as the "ultimate physical version of the game", and is absolutely complete with all episodes and locations from season one. With this, a player can expect to again enjoy all Challenges, Escalation Contracts, Opportunities, bonus missions, and a whole lot more.

The game has been specifically addressed to those who have treasured moments with the "Hitman" franchise and will be in a high quality SteelBook box, says IO studio head Hannes Seifert. It has also been loaded with a lot of additional downloadable bonus content for everyone to fully enjoy the beautiful and upgraded version of the game, reports GameSpot.

The content which fans of the game could look forward to includes 3 bonus missions pack which includes The Icon and A House Built on Sand mission, and the new Landslide mission. It also includes a documentary of the making of Hitman and the original soundtrack of the game. Players can also enjoy 6 additional Sarajevo Six missions and the "Hitman Requiem: Blood Money" pack, which has the blood money white suit, pistol, and rubber duck.

Lead online designer Torben Ellert also revealed to Gamespot in an interview that the Elusive Targets can be more challenging that ever seen before. He says the they want the first few to be "quite approachable experiences" since it is clear that they want these missions to be possible. "Yes they're tense, because if you screw up, you're finished. But they're totally doable" adds Ellert.

With all the goodies that await fans of the gun-slinging, action packed shooter that fans have loved across generations of gamers, this ultimate edition is sure to be a treat to all. "Hitman: The Complete First Season" is set be released on the 31st of January 2017 and will cost £49.99 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and £39.99 on PC.
