Fans are patiently waiting for the upcoming release of the iPhone 7 in a few days and with its launch is also the expected reveal of the MacBook Pro 2016. According to some reports, the new MacBook Pro has barely changed since it was first released in 2009, except for the designs and display updates.

MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date

On September 7, Apple will be hosting a big event and, most probably, it would be for the iPhone 7 and other devices of Apple. Basing on the trend of the release date of Apples devices, we should expect that the MacBook Pro 2016 will be revealed this coming October, as stated by iTechPost.

According to MacWorld, the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will be released soon but, most likely, it will be in Autumn 2016. The fans of the MacBook Pro have been disappointed many times already because it was a no show when Apple updated their laptops range in spring, and on WWDC 2016. Most people suggest that we would have to wait for a little longer because the new MacBook Pro 2016 will be getting a major update.

MacBook Pro 2016 Rumored Specs

The MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to have a new OLED strip with customizable keys instead of the old "F" keys. This feature might be one of the highlights of the new MacBook Pro 2016. The MacBook Pro 2016 might also have a USB-C type ports that will be used in connecting external devices such as external hard drives, displays and anything a user normally uses to connect to their computers. The USB-C feature makes the new MacBook Pro 2016 to have a faster data transfer and faster battery charging.

The Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the MacBook Pro 2016 will have a Touch ID fingerprint sensor that will be built in with the power button. The Touch ID fingerprint sensor can be used in scanning the user's finger print instead of typing a password to open the device.

According to Business Insider, the MacBook Pro 2016 will have a thinner and lighter design compared to its predecessors and it will be using the latest Intel's Skylake processor instead of the rumored Kaby Lake processor.
