WWE 2K17 Latest News, Release Date & Update: Asuka Entrace, 24 Names Complete Game Roster [VIDEO]

The roster for WWE 2K17 is now complete following the addition of 24 names plus the revelation of WWE NXT women’s champion Asuka’s entrance trailer. Among the latest additions to the WWE 2K17 mix included the Big Show, John Cena and Bayley as they set the final roster count to 138. Also in the final 24 list are familiar WWE names like Cactus Jack, Diesel, Dean Ambrose, Goldust and Dusty Rhodes.

Following four weeks of constant updates for WWE 2K17, the latest revelation should be grand as 2K Sports preps itself for the game release on Oct. 11, 2016, Forbes reported. The latest update comes appends a previous post where the punishing backstage brawls and ladder matches were in focus. A lot of those revelations took place before SummerSlam 2016 took place, with personalities like Goldberg helping out in the promotion of the upcoming game.

Will Asuka be as explosive?

There is no question that Asuka has carved a good name for herself in NXT though the trailer didn’t show much on what her WWE 2K17 character could do. Apparently 2K Sports has held that off for gamers to see once they do get hold of WWE 2K17. Aside from the NXT women’s champ, another alumnus in Bayley should be something to look out for.

Bayley of course made the big jump to WWE Raw recently, one of the high profile acquisitions that gave Raw a ‘big hug’. While most place emphasis on the men, the rising WWE women’s division should be something to check out with other stars already in the mix (i.e. Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch).

Right now, the last update seems to be too much to digest with a massive update that should gain more heat in the coming weeks. WWE 2K17 is set to be released on Oct. 11 with versions for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and the Xbox One.
