Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime Latest News, Release Date & Update: All Flagship Specs Found On Budget-Friendly Phone

Xiaomi has come out with a new mobile device with the release of the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime. Like most of its products, this one packs some serious punch at yet an affordable price.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime debuted alongside the Xiaomi Redmi 3S last month, sporting great all-metal bodies with large batteries that should be ideal for daily use. Of the two, the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime is looming to be better with bumped specs that include more RAM, storage space and the presence of a fingerprint scanner which most flagships are now sporting.

Bang for the buck

The best part about the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime is that with those jacked features, it is still not hard on the pocket. Over in India, it is priced below the Rs 10,000 mark (roughly $150) which is truly a bargain.

At first glance, the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime looks a lot like the previous Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with most of the changes happening from within. Just exactly what are those specs? The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime draws its power from an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (MMB29) processor with four of the cores clocked at 1.1 GHz and the other four at 1.4 GHz. It also comes with an Andreno 505 GPU, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128 GB via microSD).

It banks on a 5-inch IPS display (720x1280 pixels) which makes a good account of the resolution it can render. It boasts of a 13 MP main camera, a 5 MP front-facing shooter and a large battery 4100 mAh that should be more than enough for folks who are always on the go.

For a currency-converted price of roughly $150, the lot that the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime has to offer should be more than enough. The only problem is that the device is catered to the Indian market, with no word of a global release.
