NBA Trade Rumors 2016: Klay Thompson Leaving GSW? Warriors and Nuggets In a Trade Talk Between Danilo Gallinari & Will Barton?

Since the former OKC Superstar Kevin Durant decided to join Golden State Warriors, Klay Thompson's career hangs in the balance in the past weeks. The Warriors Shooting Guard has been in the hot seat on whether or not Thompson can get in the groove with the Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist Kevin Durant in the court. Some rumors suggest that Klay Thompson could be traded in other teams in the NBA.

According to Parent Herald, many fans of the Warriors have been talking that Klay Thompson will be overshadowed with Kevin Durant in the picture and the Warriors Shooting Guard's value from the team is reduced. With that said, many rumors state that Klay Thompson will be traded to other teams in the NBA and some are already interested in Thompson if the Warriors decides to trade the shooting guard.

One particular team in the NBA interested to acquire Thompson for their roster is the Denver Nuggets. Centro Times reports that the Nuggets are willing to trade in Danilo Gallinari and Will Barton for the Warriors shooting guard. Both Danilo Gallinari and Will Barton are great assets for the Warriors with Gallinari's expandable playing skills in playing the shooting guard, small forward and power forward positions, while Barton's impressive skills in the shooting guard position can make both players excellent tandem in the backcourt.

However,  claims about the Warriors will consider the offer from the Denver Nuggets remain unconfirmed until now. As of now, GSW already lost three key players from the team to acquire Kevin Durant, such as Festus Ezeli, Harrison Barne and Andrew Bogut.

Could this be the end for the Splash Brothers? Will the Golden State Warriors take the deal with the Denver Nuggets? And, is the trade possible? Share your thoughts in the comment section below. Stay tuned to Gamenguide for more NBA Trade Rumors!
