‘Total War: Warhammer’ DLC Latest News & Update: Recent ‘The Grim And The Grave’ Patch Introduced Bug, Here’s How To Fix It

The latest "Total War: Warhammer" DLC last September 1 introduced a host of new Legendary Lords, new units and 18 "Regiments of Renown." However, "The Grim and the Grave" DLC also brought something totally unexpected and unwanted with it, a bug.

'Total War: Warhammer' DLC - Accompanying Patch Introduced Glitch

Unfortunately, the recent "Total War: Warhammer" DLC also introduced a bug into the game, reports PC Invasion. It appears that with the new patch, some saved games were corrupted, especially if the saved games do not have the Chaos Warrior or Beastmen DLC.

Thankfully, developer Creative Assembly acted with lightning speed and introduced a public beta hotfix to solve the issue. In the Reddit post, gamers who experienced the problem are instructed to right-click "Total War: Warhammer" in the Steam games library and choose "Properties." After accessing the Properties window, players need to choose the "BETAs" tab. When a drop-down list appears, gamers have to choose the "savegamehotfix -" to fix the issue. For gamers who did not encounter the issue, it is not necessary to run the beta "hotfix."

Another 'Total War: Warhammer' DLC to be Release Soon?

On a different note, it appears that another "Total War: Warhammer" DLC would be releasing soon, according to PC Invasion. If rumors are true, somebody might have just unraveled clues as to what the next DLC could be via the SteamDb entries..

In the Steam's history logs, somebody spotted the entry "Total War: Warhammer - Grombrindal The White Dwarf (506190) Depot" entry. Is this an upcoming DLC to the game?

It has already been announced that Creative Assembly will be introducing a host of Lords Pack DLC, the latest of which was "The Grim and the Grave." It is possible that the reference to Grombindal could be the name of the next pack. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Total War: Warhammer" news and update!
