‘Xbox One Backwards Compatibility’ Latest News & Update: The Microsoft Feature is Dwindling and We May Know Why?

The "Xbox One backwards compatibility" feature is dwindling, in terms of AAA titles and the frequency of releasing new titles. It's not something that Microsoft has acknowledged lately, but if you look through their updates, it's not as promising as their previous posts.

Lately, Microsoft's biggest title in the feature has been the "Red Dead Redemption." July seemed to have the best month, as title after title, the "Xbox One backwards compatibility" grew to a certain number. Now, it looks like, the feature is an abandoned progression in the backwards compatibility program.

Of course, Microsoft will not admit that. Does the presence of the Xbox One S the main reason why the feature is slowing down? Just how much adjustment is needed to incorporate the Xbox 360 games to the new Xbox One S?

The promise of the BioShock series has been on the news for several months now, but the uncertain future remains the same. If Microsoft talks about it, then it might happen. But for now, it looks like the promise of new titles in the "Xbox One backwards compatibility" feature will remain subtle.

If anything else, the is the Xbox One Games with Gold for September mainly, Earthlock: Festival of Magic and Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China. For the Xbox One 360, titles include Forza Horizon and Mirror's Edge.
