'Injustice 2' News & Update: Rumored Characters to Join Roster Increasing; Multi-platform Launch Possible?

"Injustice 2" is slowly crawling its way to the mass after the success of the first title, with a massive number of characters in the roster. As for the supposed question on who else will join the lineup, the choices and ideas simply keep on rolling out.

Given that the second installment will most likely feature a number of the returning characters from the original, "Injustice 2" still serves room for more potential game changers. Some of which may be less popular, whereas some are common comic book names to note.

As per Yibada, some of the proposed characters for "Injustice 2" might be comprised of Beast Boy, King, Captain Boomerang, Darkseid, Swamp Thing, Jonah Hex and Rorschach. More importantly, two of the most popular entries in the new character lineup being Starfire and Red Hood also strikes some interest to the avid DC fans.

Apparently, the tease of Starfire and Red Hood being in "Injustice 2" is not a surprise, as it came from a poll that creator Ed Boon made. Jason Todd or Red Hood took most of the votes, followed by Star Fire and the rest being Black Manta and John Constantine.

As per Ecumenical News, "Injustice 2" has been rumored to soon be launched for all platforms by the early parts of 2017. That being said, those who have the privilege of having a PC with them may want to take note soon of the specs needed if the information is confirmed.

"Injustice 2" promises players new features that permits gamers to acquire pieces of armor loot to gather with every win. Such will allow them to upgrade the character's designated armor as the players progress, unlocking more powerful skills and possibilities.

Warner Bros.' "Injustice 2" showcases its existing number of characters such as Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Blue Beetle, Gorilla Grodd and Atrocitus so far. Keep posted for further details and news on the upcoming fighting game continuity.
