Microsoft 'ReCore' System Requirement: To Xbox One, Windows 10 in Sept 13; Preorder, Pricing

Microsoft-exclusive video game "ReCore" is hitting the road this Sept 13, plying along the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC roads. From the looks of the game, older PCs will never hit the minimum system requirement of this eye-candy.

Starting with just the minimum requirement, ReCore can be played on PCs with at least core i5-4460 Intel processors. This means that AMD FX-6300 with 2.7GHz can accommodate the game too. Either AMD Radeon R7 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 can qualify on the low limits of video cards. Considering that most older PCs are running with 4GB of RAM, there is a need to double this to 8GB for ReCore though.

Now for the recommended system requirement, a 3.9GHz Intel Core i5 is highly-desirable. Only the video card comes steep for since 4GB is preferred. ReCore will land with AMD Radeon R9 in this category while Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 is another excellent choice. RAM will exponentially scale up under the recommended line because Microsoft pins at 16GB, according to PC Gamer.

Ironically, PC gamers looking at these specs and respective prices will toy with the idea of purchasing an Xbox One instead. It is now a cramming call to decide whether to go with Windows 10 for flexibility or a dedicated Xbox One. Additional depth about ReCore's system requirements is provided on the Official Website store of Windows.

At any rate, the consolidating factor about ReCore is being a cross-platform game. Achievements and game saves can be retrieved with Xbox One and Windows 10 PC vice-versa. Also, there is a good compromise about game controllers. Xbox One controller is suggested but cheaper option is to use keyboard and mouse that are Windows-compatible.

To reiterate, ReCore will invade the shelves this Tuesday, Sept 13 for Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms. Buy preorder for either PC or console at $39.99 and you get both platforms for no add-on charge. This is possible because ReCore is part of Xbox Play Anywhere titles.
