‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ News & Updates: New Trailer Reveals Legendaries Solgaleo, Lunala; Other Characters Unveiled

A new trailer for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" recently surfaced, which revealed a few legendary creatures. The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" footage also teased the presence of a familiar character.

Previous "Pokemon Sun and Moon" reports stated that one of the missions in the game involve searching for Zygarde. Players have to locate and gather the different cells and cores of the legendary Pokemon scattered throughout the region of Alola and hopefully transform Zygarde into its ultimate form. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players will also need the Zygarde Cube to find and get the scattered pieces of Zygarde. The Bitbag revealed that two more legendary Pokemon will be joining Zygarde in "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

Based on the new trailer, Lunala and Solgaleo will be part of the game. Other new Pokemon were also featured in the clip, including Raticate in Alolan form. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" fans were particularly interested in a character in the video, who may be Professor Oak in Alolan form, or his cousin, Nariya Oak. Forbes explained that Solgaleo represents the Sun, while Lunala represents the Moon in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." Solgaleo looks very much like a lion, while Lunala seemed to be inspired by a bat. The two legendary Pokemon appear on the covers of both titles.

The new "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer appeared to be the opening CG movie of the game. The video also showed the different characters in the game, as well as lot of combat scenes featuring various Z-Moves. The footage also presented some evolutions and more shots of Solgaleo and Lunala in 3D. It is still uncertain how the two Legendaries will be involved in the story.

The setting of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will reportedly be 12 hours apart. "Pokemon Sun" will run a full 24-hour clock, while "Pokemon Moon" will follow 12 hours later. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are set to launch on Nov. 18, 2016 on Nintendo 3DS in Japan and North America. The game will become available in Europe and other places on November 23. More updates and details are expected soon.
