‘Pokemon GO’ Latest News & Update: Ivysaur Bug Fix! Players Reporting Bug Problem with Caterpie, Charmander & Horsea too!

This is a warning to "Pokemon GO" players. They should not try catching the Pokemon Ivysaur. Most players are eager to catch hold of this rare Pokemon. Ivysaur is pretty elusive. While some may have already caught one, those who haven't must refrain from catching one. Thus, if one sees an Ivysaur in a gym or nearby location, avoid it.

A group of Redditors have detected a glitch with the rare Pokemon Ivysaur. They found out that loading Ivysaur's 3D model leads to a "Pokemon GO" game crash. Users have also reported all Pokemon simply disappearing from the map or a frozen white screen. The thing also applies for 3D models shown during inspection of a Pokemon in a player's Pokedex or in the Pokemon storage.

"Pokemon GO" players will have to restart the game or the phone depending on the type of glitch. Some players have even reported that the restarting the app or the phone sometimes did not solve the problem and they had to reinstall the app again. Therefore, it is advisable to not catch Ivysaur, reports Anime Blog.

In certain cases, players were not able to see Pokemon in Gyms, in the wild and even after hatching an Egg after the Ivysaur bug set in. As per Heavy, the Ivysaur bug is affecting android users the most. Numerous complaints are being reported from "Pokemon GO" players using HTC, Blackberry, Lenovo, Motorola, LG, Huawei, Samsung, Redmi, OnePlus, Sony Xperia, Vernee and ZTA.

Although the Ivysaur bug is the most prominent, "Pokemon GO" players are also reporting similar problems with Caterpie, Charmander and Horsea. Reports say that some players tried to view Ivysaur before viewing Grimer. They ended up with the invisible Pokemon problem though Grimer didn't crash their game.

To avoid the problem, players may try clicking on a Pokemon a few paces away on the Pokedex and then swipe to Ivysaur. This "Pokemon GO" trick acts as a workaround for the Grimer bug. It is not known whether it will work with the Ivysaur bug though both bugs are pretty similar.
