It has been three years since first "The Last of Us" game was released along with the PlayStation console and fans of the game are dying to know when "The Last of Us 2" will be released. Naughty Boy stated a couple of times that the company is not really considering "The Last of Us 2" game for now, but the demand for the game became dramatically high in the past few months.
A recent report states that "The Last of Us" developers have already expressed that they are willing to do the game sequel if Naughty Boy would tap them as they would definitely want to be a part of it again.So, is "The Last of Us" 2 going to happen soon?
Voice Actress Reveals 'The Last of Us' 2?
According to Gamespot, Ashley Johnson, the voice actress for Ellie in "The Last of Us," has expressed her interest in making a sequel to the game. Johnson is also very open in doing more projects with Naughty Boy in the future if the game developer would like "The Last of Us 2" to happen.
The voice actress further stated that she would not hesitate joining Naughty Boy again. She also promised to participate in all activities the game developer would require her to commit to for "The Last of Us 2" game.
Moreover, Ashley Johnson shared her thoughts about "The Last of Us 2" and said that it should be a standalone game. However, the voice actress wouldn't miss a thing if she would be offered to work with the guys behind the post-apocalyptic zombie game again.
'The Last of Us' Remastered and The Upcoming Movie Of The Game
Even with the news that Naughty Boy will not release "The Last of Us" 2 anytime soon, fans are still excited for the "The Last of Us" Remastered for the PlayStation 4 Pro. PlayStation Lifestyle reports that the game will run on 4k and has an improved 60 fps in the Sony's gaming console.
