Google Nexus 7 2016 is rumored to be formally announced soon. A recent tweet claims that the tablet is now being developed and may arrive before the year ends.
Based on a Twitter post made by a known leaker named Evan Blass, the Google Nexus 7 2016 is indeed coming out. However, no mention of the exact date of release was noted.
Google Nexus 7 2016 sources believe that the device is likely to be announced at the Google hardware event on Oct. 4. With that, the tech company is expected to complete the new Nexus 7 with its partner for 2016. Aside from this, rumors are also claiming that the device could be released on Nov. 24.
Google Nexus 7 2016 tweet also claims that Huawei is going to develop the Nexus 7 after partnering with Google on the Nexus 6P. According to reports, this partnership to work on the tablet initially became known when Huawei's Charlene Munilall confirmed that the company was to work again on the Nexus this year.
However, there are also reports suggesting that HTC will develop the two Nexus device. With that, there are speculations that Nexus would most likely be handled by Huawei if the successor of Nexus 5X and 6P were to be developed by HTC, Vine Report reported.
Meanwhile, Google is also expected to launch other devices on Oct. 4 like HTC Sailfish and Marlin, Google Home, a new 4K Chromecast and Daydream VR viewer. However, it is still unclear if the next Google tablet will be included in the rumored end of the year release window. Nevertheless, the tech company is expected to bring huge surprises that will keep the consumers wait in excitement.
Google, moreover, is believed to be cancelling its Project Ara, an initiative that will make modular phones. However, some reports indicate that the tech company is not completely cancelling it and that it is likely to get a third party to license the technology, Parent Herald reported.
