According to an earlier report from TechRadar, Kaby Lake processors, the chipset expected to be featured in the new Surface Pro device, won't ship until 2017. But now, it is reported that Microsoft Surface Pro 5 details will be dropped next month. If these reports are true, then fans will finally know how powerful the device will be. In addition, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to be a competitor of Apple's MacBook Pro 2016.
Although nothing has been set in stone yet, rumors about Microsoft Surface Pro 5's specs and features have already made the rounds. One of the long-standing rumors surrounding the device is its battery life. Battery performance is one of the weak features of the Surface Pro 4. It is expected that Microsoft will improve this field to allow the device to last longer while in use.
Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is also said to feature a new and upgraded Surface Pen. The previous model's stylus pen does not last long and would require users to buy a new one. This time around, it is reported that the stylus will be rechargeable via a special magnetic dock.
