Microsoft Windows 10 Anniversary Update features included enhanced gaming experiences, Windows Ink, Edge browser, security upgrades and Cortana improvements. The digital assistant Cortana and the digital stylus with the Microsoft Surface Pro tablet are also expected to get enhanced functionality and added features in the update.

The Microsoft Windows 10 Anniversary Update which came in August reportedly had some glitches that needed to be resolved such as problems with webcams getting disabled, PCs crashing when an Amazon Kindle is plugged in via USB and several login freeze complaints. Microsoft assured customers that an update is already in the works that would resolve the issues., MS Power User reported.

With the bugs that were reported from the Microsoft Windows 10 Anniversary Update, the Windows developer also noted that H.264 streams for webcams and those that used the compressed MJPG were not compatible with the update. The Windows 10 users were reportedly advised to visit the Microsoft site to update to the new version.

Latest Microsoft Windows 10 Anniversary Update reports have shown that the login freeze problem was already addressed but disabled webcam complaints still persist. A temporary fix was suggested by other users to go back to the previous installment of Windows 10 until a new update is released.

The Microsoft Windows 10 Anniversary Update is available for free to users of Windows 10 via the Windows Update. It is found in the Settings app>Update & Security>Check for Updates. However, another option is to install the OS using the Media Creation Tool.

Microsoft Windows 10 Anniversary Update can also be downloaded via a new tool called the Windows 10 Update Assistant. Additionally, for a clean installation of the Anniversary Update, download an official ISO for the Anniversary Update using the Media Creation Tool, Shack News reported.

Microsoft Windows 10 Anniversary Update users can then click on "Create installation media for another PC" and the Windows variant chosen pops out. The ISO file can then be saved in a specific computer location and the tool will commence downloading the ISO. Watch Windows 10 Anniversary Update: New Features
